Hosting and server log data
Our website is operated by Vercel Inc. (440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA). Pages are delivered from data centres in Frankfurt am Main (Germany). Content (texts, products) is stored in a database provided by Neon, Inc. (data centre in Frankfurt am Main); images and documents are stored in Vercel Blob, also in Frankfurt. Data processing agreements are in place with these providers. Where data is transferred to the USA, this is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses.
When you visit the website, the following data is technically necessary and is stored briefly in server logs: IP address, date and time, requested address (URL), amount of data transferred, status code, and browser and operating system information. This processing serves the secure and stable operation of the website and the prevention of misuse.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and efficient operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies
This website uses no cookies for analytics or advertising. A cookie banner is therefore not required. No personal data is stored in your browser for the functioning of the site (menu, contact panel, slider).
Visitor statistics (Umami)
To understand which content is used, we use the analytics software Umami. Umami works without cookies and without storing an identifier in your browser. The analysis runs on our own Umami server operated by Thriveby (hosted at Vercel, data centre Frankfurt); no data is passed on to advertising networks. We record the page visited, the referrer, browser type, operating system, screen size and approximate origin (country). Your IP address is not stored and no profile is created that would allow you to be recognised across several visits.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in designing the website according to demand (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object to the analysis at any time by contacting us.
Contact and forms
If you contact us by email, phone or via one of our forms (contact, product enquiry, custom-made request), we process the data you provide (e.g. name, company, address, email, phone number, message and any uploaded files) to handle your enquiry and for follow-up questions.
Form data is delivered to us as an email via the sending service Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany; parent company Sendinblue SAS, France). Brevo acts as our processor. The data is not stored in a database on the website; it afterwards resides in our email mailbox.
The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures or a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not pass your data on to third parties without your consent unless this is necessary to handle your enquiry or required by law.
Storage period
We keep enquiries for as long as necessary to handle them and for possible follow-up questions. After that we delete the data unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. under commercial and tax law) apply. Server log data is deleted automatically after a short time.
Security
Transmission between your browser and our website is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Access to the content management system is protected by personal credentials.
External links
Our website contains links to other websites (e.g. manufacturers). We have no influence on their content or data protection practices. Please refer to the privacy notices of the respective providers.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You can withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future. Simply contact us at info@accem.at.
If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna.
Changes
We update this policy when our website or the legal requirements change. Last updated: October 2026.
